And the Angels Were Silent

Lucado, M. (1992).  And the Angels were Silent.  Multnomah Publishers, Inc.

It's always a blessing to read Max Lucado, or to hear him speak. His ability to communicate via stories is phenomenal. One of my regrets is that I can't remember all of the stories!

In this book, Lucado focuses on passion week, taking us day-by-day through the events leading up to the crucifixion and resurrection. Along the way, he brings in life applications and lessons. As Lucado puts it, "Let's follow Jesus on his final journey. For by observing his, we may learn how to make ours." (p. 12). He accomplishes his purpose admiringly. This is a well-written, uplifting book.
