Someone sent me a little book entitled, The Leadership Secrets of Santa Claus: How to Get Big Things Done in YOUR "Workshop"...All Year Long (published by Walk the Talk, Dallas, TX). This light and humorous book suggests the following leadership principles:
- Build a wonderful workshop
- Choose your reindeer wisely
- Make a list and check it twice
- Listen to the elves
- Get beyond the red wagon
- Share the milk and cookies
- Find out who's naughty and nice
- Be good for goodness sake
While I'm not sure that I would actually go out and pay for this book, it was worth the fairly small amount of time that I had to read it, partially because of its humor.
